Llançament de MATE 1.22

Després de gairebé un any de desenvolupament, l’equip de MATE Desktop ha llançat MATE 1.22. Un fort agraïment a tots els col·laboradors que han ajudat a fer que això sigui possible.

Novetats a MATE 1.22

Aquest llançament conté correccions d’errors crítics i millores adjacents. Alguns dels aspectes més destacats són:

El tauler de MATE sofert una gran reelaboració perquè funcioni amb Wayland
- La miniaplicació del monitor s'ha renovat completament, ara permet un millor control dels monitors des del tauler
- La miniaplicació del temporitzador ara té una millor interacció amb el ratolí
- El peix Wanda ara funciona correctament en monitors HiDPI (la imatge del peix segueix sent pixelada, mantenint el seu disseny original)
La compatibilitat per als temes metacity finalment s’ha actualitzat a la versió 3 dins del gestor de finestres marco
- També hem modernitzat els canviadors de finestres i d'escriptoris per fer-los més atractius visualment
El gestor de sessions ara finalitza correctament tots els processos a systemd. A més, les aplicacions es poden iniciar automàticament després d’un retard seleccionat per l’usuari
Hem portat completament diversos programes a Python 3, incloent-hi les biblioteques de donnectors d'eye of MATE i de python-caja, així com també la biblioteca de mate-menus
El gestor de fitxers caja ara opcionalment pot visualitzar notificacions d’escriptori per a les operacions de fitxers de llarga durada
Eye of MATE té una barra lateral reelaborada i una millor compatibilitat per a les metadades d’imatges
Ara es pot canviar de pestanya al pluma amb dreceres de teclat o amb el desplaçament del ratolí
La calculadora admet fins a 15 posicions de precisió. També s'ha millorat una mica la compatibilitat per copiar i enganxar
Engrampa, se li ha afegit compatibilitat per a diversos formats de compressió, i també la funcionalitat de fer una pausa o reprendre les operacions
S'han afegit algunes dreceres de teclat, incloent-hi la compatibilitat per a diferents tipus de tecles de mitjans com ara Bluetooth, WiFi, tauler tàctil i interruptors globals
S'han realitzat tasques de neteja a fons:
- La majoria dels nostres projectes s'han migrat de dbus-glib a GDBus
- Hem millorat l'estabilitat en molts dels nostres projectes tancant les fuites de memòria i construint advertències
- Hem eliminat el codi antic obsolet per estar al dia amb les versions més recents de GTK
- S'ha afegit i corregit una gran quantitat de documentació nova i actualitzada
- Ara tots els nostres projectes utilitzen la integració continua Travis per garantir que es construeixin de forma neta en algunes de les nostres principals distribucions
